Does the 580-2 have a bigger frunk?

Checked out the Huracan today, was impressed with how much better it looks in person than in pictures, both inside and out.

The frunk (front trunk) was really small though compared to the McLaren 540/570 I'm cross-shopping it with. I was looking at a 610-4 however, and am wondering if the 580-2 will have a bigger frunk after losing the front drivetrain stuff?

Id say unlikely. I don't think the 550 had a larger "frunk" than the 560 and I'm sure they want to use as many carry over parts as possible including the "frunk" tub. Interested to hear confirmed answer tho too.

I don't think they (Lamborghini) would waste their resources redesigning the frunk.

Its not confirmed yet but it seems the trunks are the same, here is the answer:

"Not really becuase the front trunk is not sitting on top of where the front diff would be. It is still foward of the front diff."

If you double the size of the frunk it still won't be good for anything. 2 x 0 is still 0

I have a sneaking suspicion that some of us just responded to this message in order to be able to say "frunk"

    To wit.....

Thanks all. Was hoping that it would be the same scenario as the 991 and Model S where the RWD variants have larger frunks than their AWD counterparts.

Still, 150L is quite usable, or at least this is the number I read somewhere. It definitely looks smaller than the 12C's frunk (144L) in person...

FYI dealer confirmed that the 580-2 has the same frunk as the 610-4.
