Put 250 Miles on New Huracan?

Gang, I'm going to pick up my new Huracan later this week. The dealer is approx 250 miles away. Should I have the car delivered or go get it and drive home?

Part of me says conserve the miles. Also you don't want to drive at constant speeds while breaking it in. What do you guys think?

It is a car with great build quality , drive it if you want. just Don't launch the car within break in period.

My advice would be to get the car on trailer, not because of the miles, its good to drive the car first on familiar roads and get used to it before doing a long trip with it. Just my opinion.

I put 600 miles on the car within the 1st day. Took it straight from the dealer to a rally. Dealer told me the car is ready to go out the box and doesn't need any breaking in and everything is under warranty so drive it like you stole it. So I did. Loved every minute of it. But if conserving miles is your thing then don't. I frankly don't care and bought the car to drive it.

They delivered mine like a Pizza,it was very cool with the neighbors looking out their windows.Make them deliver it and put the mile on as you wish. The Huracan are rock solid,no issue at all with mine and I run it hard.But,the brakes do need to be broken in with at least 150 miles and no launches while brand new.Again,other than launches,I have done it all and it is perfect.Have fun with your new toy...

It is Grigio Lynx with saddle leather. Yes, they are definitely putting Xpel on it!
