    cylinder deactivation

    cylinder deactivation
Just saw this , the '16 model has cylinder deactivation which shuts down one bank under normal cruising conditions.. Also looks like the spyder is 2 tenths slower than the '15 model.. For the money we're spending I want all 10 cylinders working !

I blame Audi for this nonsense. Have you guys noticed the brake pad has "made in Germany" "VW audi" printed on it.

Complete nonsense. It should be an option and most people would opt-out!!!

Convertible looks nice, just hate the fact it's soft roof!

Well, if its anything like the Aventador, you can deactivate it. On the Aventador it is only active in Strada (who the hell drives in Strada anyway). Its not active in Sport or Corsa!

I'm sure you will be able to deactivate it, I have that on my Q5 TDI and I've got it turned off. The Spyder looks better than I expected. I think they did a nice job with the roofline and buttress.

With cylinder deactivation... are they charging a much lower gas guzzler tax?
It should be lower now, if the milage improves.
Maybe even no GGT at all !!!

Let the Gods strike Winkelman (or whatever his name is) and all Labmo owners who option this silliness.
WTF is next, Lambo with 4 active cylinders?
