First batch of 2016's will hit Oct at US dealers.
As to 'pumping out cars' 2015's are finished and remaining few are on boats. Aug they are basically re-tooling and vacation then start 'pumping out' 2016's.
However, there will be about half of the 610-4 allocations as 2015, as they are ramping production of other models for 2016 and dealers have MUCH fewer to sell in 2016.
That will be a good thing...keep supply tight and demand up.
What other models?? The convertible version? Big deal !
In the past the factory throws out all kinds of statements that are just smoke. They will make as many 610-4's as they can. I've never seen a shortage of allocations; not once in 10 years of baby bull production.
Two dealer GM's both confirmed fewer Coupe allocations in the US (they have zero need to lie). Plant capacity is currently maxed out and with the addition of Spyder and 2WD that will suck time down the line production of 610-4...it's pure math. Doesn't matter what you believe or not and I don't have any skin in the game (besides enjoying mine) so really could careless.
The Lambo dealers have screwed up values on these cars temporarily. They did so by putting in a crap ton of orders, making it look like they were actual buyers, but in actuality they were just dealer inventory that the dealers wanted because they saw how quickly early order cars were selling (and for MSRP). The end result is a ton of inventory and Lambo Italy has now put out an edict that they will only build cars to order. They do anticipate the 2016 numbers to be about 1/2 the 2015 numbers, which will, over time, stabilize values. It's no surprise that there are no less than 50 new Huracan's sitting at dealers and no dealer shows them as inventory online (Lambo Italy is encouraging them NOT to advertise online to help protect the value). Anyhow, now is a GREAT time to buy a new Huracan :)

Lamborghini made a similar production error back in 2004.
Plus, a planned 2WD version won't harm the 610-4 production. 2WD versions never have sold very well.
It is a niche vehicle; most buyers want the tenacious grip of Lamborghini's fantastic all wheel drive system.

In Canada, There are more numbers of Aventadors on the road than Huracans at the moment. Feeling pretty special about driving one!
