Not sure if you're referring to the carbon sleeve over the metal...but the metal is part of the Akrapovic tip. This is how they do the CF over their tips, if you look at their other exhaust systems, you will notice the metal inner sleeve. The "slip on" is not referring to the tip but the actual exhaust, behind the bumper

Ferrucio is right, i'm familiar with their Audi exhaust systems (like RS5 for example) and it's basically the same design.
