Lamborghini confirmed at the Shanghai Motor Show 2015 that production of the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV will be capped to 600 units.
To make a comparison, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV initially was limited to 350 units but due to Lamborghini switching its priority to retooling its factory for the Aventador, production of the Murcielago SV was reportedly cut to 186 units.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV 6.5-litre V12 engine gets a power boost of 50 hp together with a weight reduction of 50 kg over the standard model. The top speed is now 350 km/h and the 0-100 km/h time drops, as mentioned, from 2.9 seconds to 2.8 seconds. Torque remains at 507 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm and peak rpm rises to 8,500 rpm.
