Auto-Start-Stop feature help!

So everything has been going perfect on my 580-2! Yet I have one question!

My H came with that engine start stop feature , and I've never tried to put it on yet I wanted to try it out ! It's the button right next to the passenger's window button. I press the button for autostart stop, it won't do anything... I thought maybe if i switch the mode from Sport back down to strada that the feature would work but obviously not, is there a way to turn that thing on? I'd click it and it won't do anything , I know it should turn off when I'm at a stoplight to save gas!

Again.. it's a feature that I won't really use [ but it's always good to have a working optional feature ! ]

Put more pressure on brake pedal when the car at stationary and it should kill the motor....The motor will not stop with light pressure on brake pedal.

The button is to switch ON/OFF this feature only, not to stop/start the engine.

Of course it is to turn the featue ON/OFF but isn't the feature suppose to basically cut the engine [not fully off] when not moving?

I think you're talking about Cylinder Deactivation system which will deactivate 5 cylinders (one bank) while cruising @ part throttle only. It has nothing to do with stop/start feature..

I didn't like the feature so I had it turned off by my lambo specialist forever. now it doesn't stall anymore on the red light ))
