If it was an lp610 it cannot have better brakes, the lp610 comes standard with ceramic brakes. The lp580 comes standard with steel brakes and indeed you can opt for ceramic brakes which are better.
As exhaust you have two options: sport which is factory installed (not just an software upgrade as you said) and race which can be installed by dealer. He has the race exhaust if he had the box.
