    Nitrogen filled tires...worth it
Hey guys, was curious if anyone used nitrogen to fill the tires? I would use it at the race track for the motorcycles but was curious as to any benefit really other then track use?

Yes there is, nitrogen has less of an expansion and contraction swing when it comes to temperatures. As your driving around the track and your tires heat up they stay closer to the target PSI than air.
There are a couple good sources for this...
Nitrogen Filled Tires • BV Motorsports
U.S. GAO - Underinflated Tires in the United States
The last one is a google link to the NHTSA pdf for their study on effects of nitrogen filled tires
