    Question About 91 vs 101 Octane

    Question About 91 vs 101 Octane
    Do we need an ECU tune to run 101 octane? I have a station near me here but wasn't sure If i needed a tune before filling up. Anyone know?

    No you don't need a ECU calibration to run unleaded 101.
    The ECU will detect less knock activity and will not retard timing which will result is more power generated.
    You may have to drive about 20 to 30 miles for the ECU to adapt.
    Also make sure you have the least amount of 91 in the tank before you add the 101

    why use a less octane? you have a blower on it?
